The expenditure would see six loos brought up to standard in time for the main tourist season next year. The toilets that have been earmarked for the work are – East Cowes, Osborne Road; Ryde, Western Esplanade; Sandown, Sandham Grounds; Shanklin, Rylstone Gardens; Totland, Colwell Bay; and Ventnor, Marlborough Road. Once this is completed, more facilities will be identified for improvement from the remaining budget.
