Simple PC based attendance booking system ideal for schools

Thirteen parents were recently prosecuted at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court Thirteen parents were recently prosecuted at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court for failing to send their children to school. For example, Hampshire County Council took two couples to court. A couple from Havant were both given parenting orders for not sending their son to secondary school between February and July 2010. The orders mean they will have to attend 12 months of counselling and parenting classes. Parents from Hayling Island were told to pay £315 for the same offence between April and July.

In recognition of the importance of pupils attending school, Time and Attendance Southern have developed WinTA PC Clock, which is a cost-effective method as there is no need for a new time and attendance network. PC Clock is a simple PC based booking system ideal for organisations where each pupil (or employee for a work-based system) has access to a PC. Pupils are simply presented with an input screen on their PC allowing them to clock in and out. The input screen then books them "in" and "out".
