Lee on Solent and Portland coastguard complete Time and Attendance clocking badgeThe Lee on Solent and Portland centre is one coastguard services threatened by cuts. Under proposals, HM Coastguard, Portland – which is responsible for 145 miles (233km) of coastline and 2,300 nautical square miles off the coast – could be shut down in 2012 with a potential loss of 27 jobs. Portland worker Sarah Callaby Brown said: "We do ask the government to look closely at all the responses and suggestions and take time to discuss the way forward with people in the know.”

If your workplace is threatened by cuts, Time and Attendance Southern supplies a complete Time and Attendance clocking system which saves time and money. Our WinTA networks use contactless smart cards where the badge will read through your wallet or purse in a quarter of a second (up to 15 times faster than swipe systems and more reliable). WinTA handles all major hours calculation methods and can supply working rules to calculate the correct result. The settings can separate ‘worked time’ into different rates and shifts.
