Fawley Southampton refinery administration Contactless key fobs operate clocking recording and monitoring system Time and Attendance SouthernFawley, near Southampton, is one of seven refineries in the UK anxiously waiting on news about its parent company falling into administration. Fawley’s Zurich-based owner, Petroplus, said it would be filing for insolvency and has already halted sales at one oil refinery. Linda McCulloch, national officer at the Unite union, said: “One thousand jobs are at risk but we firmly believe that joint action by the owners and Government can help secure the business.”

Contactless key fobs are used to operate a clocking recording and monitoring system from Southampton based Time and Attendance Southern. The fobs contain no onboard battery, so theoretically, each key fob has an infinite life and can be read an infinite number of times. When placed within range of your clocking scanner, the key fob will be read in under ½ second, even if that fob is covered in oil and grease. All key fobs supplied by us have a keyring slot allowing them to be attached to a set of keys.
