The members of Occupy Bournemouth decided to leave the site outside the offices voluntarily on Monday (July 2, 2012) night. Bournemouth Borough Council had earlier applied for a warrant for their eviction after obtaining an immediate possession order. One of the protesters, simply known as Andy, explained that numbers were dwindling and some of the group had been feeling ill. A similar demonstration took place at the town hall in November 2011.
