Police are warning residents with expensive cars to watch out as a young couple were burgled while they slept and woke to hear their £50,000 car being driven off their driveway. It is one of a series of high performance vehicles recently being stolen from outside homes across Southampton. The theft happened at Bassett in the early hours when a burglar forced entry into their home and grabbed the keys after a quick search in the downstairs of their house before driving off in their BMW X6. Homes across Upper Shirley and Bassett have been targeted.
