Corporate Time and Attendance system deals with rostering issues
The chairman of the Dorset Police Federation has laid into Olympic security measures. Clive Chamberlain criticised the set-up as an “Olympic-sized monumental failure.” His comments came after 3,500 troops were required to man checkpoints nationwide. As a result, Mr Chamberlain said, officers will make up the shortfall at the Olympic and Paralympic sailing events in Weymouth and Portland. He added: “We are going to have hundreds or thousands of people that are going to need to be properly vetted – that comes down to the police.”
A corporate system from Time and Attendance Southern deals with manpower and rostering issues by sending warnings via various media when there is a staff shortfall. Email, SMS or speech notifications and alerts are options for supervisors and management. Comprehensive user-definable Working Patterns, rosters, and shifts can be set up by our WinTA system. Other features include: Annualised hours and Flexi Patterns; extensive EU Working Time Directive checking and reporting; manning level and automatic rostering.
