Staff went on strike between 3am and 4am in protest at plans to close nine coastguard stations and cut more than 140 jobs. The walkouts also involve the stations at Brixham and Falmouth and across the UK.

Time and Attendance Southern has a Mobile SSM Application (App) available to download in the Apple Store now to take your clocking needs firmly into the 21st century. The App is designed to complement the features already available within our Self Service Module by offering a set of clocking and absence related self service features packaged conveniently into an iPhone App. Mobile clockings and job bookings, once submitted, are transferred to the central Tensor.NET application. Employee movements recorded in this manner are plotted on a map viewable in the Tensor.NET software.
