The pupils at the Dorset school were crestfallen that their hard work was literally going up in smoke. However, exam board AQA said it would ensure students are “not disadvantaged by this very unfortunate set of circumstances”. The school hopes to reopen later this week, with some classes on four-day weeks due to the lack of space.

Time and Attendance Southern can soon supply an entry level registration system for pupils which does not even require any clocking stations called WinTA PC Clock. PC users, including school children, can book in and out of classes at their computer. Automatic and definable reports are available from the software contained within WinTA PC Clock. The WinTA PC Clock package includes: a software installation CD, a User Manual and 10 days of free helpdesk support from the date of purchase.
