Dorset Police were alerted to the incident at about 13:20 GMT on December 4. Police and armed officers searched the area around the building in Bank Parade, on Bryant Road. Detective Constable Jo Regan of Bournemouth CID said: "This is a serious incident,” adding: “I am keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously before or after the incident.”
