Saving successful businesses money since 1991
Today, Ariel Direct, a Hampshire provider of telecommunications, is launching a new head office at Barnes Wallis Road, Fareham, following a multimillion-pound investment. This is expected to create more than 100 jobs over the next 18 months.
The company currently has a 220-strong team and could provide jobs for as many as 450 people in total.
Chief executive and founder David Kilby said: "We are very excited to be showcasing our new HQ and proud that we are able to offer employment opportunities to the area.
"Our new location, adjacent to the motorway at J9 of the M27, puts us in easy reach of Southampton and Portsmouth – this coupled with Whiteley being on our doorstep means we really are well placed to attract the very best talent."
The head office features a hi-tech demonstration suite as well as an iPad intelligent meeting room booking system.
Kilby added: "We value our staff – truly the backbone of the company – and so have invested heavily in brand new equipment, such as high-end ergonomic chairs, height-adjustable monitors, Sonos music system throughout the building and an extensive staff break-out relaxation area, thus providing what we believe is an unrivalled working environment."

Are you too a growing, successful company, with new shiny premises and lots of new job roles being advertised?
Congratulations!
But … are you still using paper timesheets? Struggling through bad handwriting in order to manually add the data to an Excel sheet before sending that off to be incorporated into your payroll software?
Here at Time and Attendance Southern, we can help you save time and money by bringing your time and attendance system into the 21st century.
With one of our time and attendance clocking terminals and associated software, all of this hassle will disappear. The clocking terminal will record when your employees enter and exit, using either a smartcard or a biometric scanner, and the central system can export this clocking data in a format suitable for all leading payroll programmes.
This data can be used in many ways: HR can use it for absence management, with a built-in Bradford Index calculator and customisable alerts. The software also warns if your employees are at risk of breaching the rules set down by the European Working Time Directive.
Another area that we could help you save money and time is in automating your reception. Do you have someone sat at the desk just to tell people to sign in and out and answer the phone? Your money could be better spent elsewhere.
Or perhaps you don’t have a receptionist and you struggle to have your existing staff covering the front desk on a rota. Maybe you have even lost potential customers and clients due to no-one being at the desk?
Our Unmanned Reception App is what you need. This app can run on any standard touch-screen device. Visitors can check themselves into their pre-booked appointments, or book an appointment there and then.
As they check themselves in, the app will notify their assigned “host” by email or text so that they are aware of the visitor’s arrival, and record the visitor as inside the building. This is ideal for health and safety such as fire alarms.
